Cleaning, washing, size/weight sorting, and rejection of off-grade fruit for consistency.

5️⃣ Packaging & Cold Chain

Palletization and rapid cooling to maintain 40–46 °F, safeguarding freshness.

6️⃣ Export & Customs Clearance

USDA/APHIS inspection, phytosanitary certificates, and full compliance with U.S. import rules.

7️⃣ Transportation & Logistics

Reefer trucking to the border, cross-border clearance, and final DC delivery.

8️⃣ McAllen Cold Room

Optional storage at Sterling’s McAllen facility — buyers may pick up directly or schedule redistribution.
